The very last position you want to be in, in a street fight is on the ground. Unfortunately if you are not skilled on the ground, you can get kicked in the face and head or mounted and punched a couple dozen times before your knocked out and robbed if you dont have jiu jitsu moves up your sleeve!

Now I truly hope you have been watching as much UFC and mixed martial arts events to further your tactical knowledge and wisdom on jiu jitsu moves. In today's article I would like to talk about, "The Guard" position.

The Guard is simply laying on your back, with your legs in between and wrapped around your attacker. Lock your feet together when you have wrapped your legs around your attackers torso.

This will prevent him from mounting you and trapping your arms to your sides, sitting on your chest and dominating you savagely. Secondly, these jiu jitsu moves will stop him from standing up and kicking or punching you. There are many different defenses you can use with this tactical ground position and jiu jitsu move.
